FeelingsOut

Our Story

FeelingsOut started on a bad night, with a phone full of contacts and nobody I could actually call.

Everyone in that phone knew me. Which meant everyone in that phone was part of the story, or would worry, or would have an opinion, or would tell my mother. I did not need advice. I did not need a plan. I needed to say the thing out loud to someone who would just let me say it.

Therapy is real and it helps. It also costs ₹1,500 to ₹3,000 a session, has a waiting list, and in most Indian homes still comes with a raised eyebrow. So most of us do the other thing. We swallow it. The breakup, the layoff, the marriage that is not what we hoped, the parents who keep asking, the loneliness of a new city. We carry all of it quietly and call it being strong.

FeelingsOut is the thing that was missing in the middle. A real person, in your own language, who is there for one reason only. To listen. No history with you, no judgement, no advice unless you ask for it. A small fee so that their time is respected and the space stays serious. And complete anonymity, so you can finally say the things you cannot say anywhere else.

We started with Telugu because that is the language we cry in. Hindi and English came next. More are on the way as our listeners grow.

What we believe

If you want to talk, find a listener. If you are the one your friends call, become one.
