1. What FeelingsOut is
FeelingsOut (feelingsout.com) is a peer emotional support platform that connects people who want to talk (“Talkers”) with people who are willing to listen (“Listeners”). FeelingsOut is not a healthcare provider. Listeners are independent individuals, not employees, and are not licensed mental health professionals. Nothing on this platform is therapy, counselling, medical advice or a crisis service.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older to use FeelingsOut, either as a Talker or a Listener.
3. Accounts
You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account. Talkers may use a nickname. Listeners must provide accurate details for verification and payouts.
4. Payments and refunds
Calls are paid in advance through Razorpay. If a Listener does not join a booked call, the Talker is refunded in full. Refunds for other reasons are at our discretion and are reviewed case by case. Listeners are paid their share weekly to the UPI ID or bank account they provide.
5. Conduct
Be respectful. Do not harass, threaten, sexualise, record, or attempt to contact another user outside the platform. Listeners must follow the Listener Code of Conduct. We may suspend or remove any account that breaks these rules, without refund of platform fees.
6. Safety
If you are at risk of harming yourself or others, use the helplines listed on our Safety page or call emergency services. Listeners are instructed to share helpline information when they are concerned for someone’s safety.
7. Limitation of liability
FeelingsOut provides the platform “as is”. We do not guarantee any outcome from a call. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the call in question.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. Questions: feelingsout.help@gmail.com. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Hyderabad having jurisdiction.
